Affordability

Affordability stands as a significant concern in our society, impacting the daily lives of New Jersey residents through the escalating costs of housing, taxes, and college tuition. These financial burdens are causing many current residents to leave the state as well as prohibit new homeowners to move here.  We need new solutions and ideas to work to make New Jersey more affordable for everyone.  

As your member of Congress, my efforts will focus on:

• Reducing taxes and reinstating the entire State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction.

• Prioritizing investments and implementing initiatives in housing to generate more affordable options.

• Confronting the student debt crisis by advocating for increased loan forgiveness, converting paid interests into principal.

• Capping interests for first-time home buyers, saving young American families hundreds of dollars in monthly payments, and allowing young people to have a home to raise their family.
